Terms of Service

Welcome to MythCaster, operated by WyrdWork Studios LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our platform at mythcaster.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Your Content

You retain full ownership of worlds, scenes, entities, wiki articles, images, and other assets you create on MythCaster. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and serve your content through the platform as necessary to operate the service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

2. Public Content

When you mark a world as “Public,” it becomes visible to all users and may appear in search results, the public world browser, and social media previews. Other users may fork (“expand”) your public worlds to create their own versions. You can make a world private at any time to remove it from public listings.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, hateful, harassing, or threatening content
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or private data
  • Interfere with the platform’s operation or circumvent security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or abuse the service

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access to accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion. Users can report content via the in-app reporting system for review.

4. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on MythCaster infringes your copyright, submit a notice to info@mythcaster.app with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The location of the infringing material on our platform
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized

We will review notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content.

5. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use MythCaster. Users under 18 should not publish content publicly. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete their account.

6. Purchases & Digital Goods

MythCaster sells digital products, currently including custom 3D-printable character STL files. All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Purchases are processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your payment card information.

Each STL purchase includes 5 downloads of your configured character model. Downloads are non-refundable once accessed. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Account & Authentication

MythCaster uses Google OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for the security of your Google account. We do not store your Google password. You may also use the platform as a guest with limited functionality.

8. Service Availability

MythCaster is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss of data, interruption of service, or damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Account Termination

We may restrict access to your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting info@mythcaster.app. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of MythCaster after changes constitutes acceptance. We will prompt registered users to re-accept when material changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.
